MI11-Meaningful letters

Principiante Per Tutti a Milano.

Letterforms are both text and image. Before we read a text, we perceive it visually. In this workshop, students will learn how to connect the shape of letters with the meaning of words to leverage the potential of lettering to communicate visually and verbally at the same time.

I will show students the parameters that defi ne the shape of letters and how they can systematically use these parameters to design custom letterforms that express exactly what they want to convey.

Workshop for all levels, in English with no translation. For further information, please refer to the workshop manager, Martina Franzese (martinafranzese.aci@gmail.com).
